This Privacy Policy explains how HandyCandor Home Service Management, LLC, doing business as HandyCandor and HandyCandor Home Service ("HandyCandor," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and protects your information when you visit handycandor.com (the "Site"), contact us, or receive text messages from us.

Information you give us. When you fill out a form, call, email, or text us, we may collect your name, phone number, email address, service address, a description of the work you need, photos you send, and any other details you choose to share.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, our website platform and analytics tools may collect your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, time spent on pages, and how you arrived at the Site.

Payment information. Payments are handled by our payment processors. We do not store full payment card numbers on the Site.

Provide estimates and schedule, perform, and follow up on services
Send appointment confirmations, reminders, job updates, and invoices
Send text messages you have agreed to receive (see Section 7)

The sharing described in this section does not apply to mobile phone numbers or text messaging consent. Those are covered by Section 7 and are never shared with third parties for marketing.

6. Reviews and public content

If you post a review or comment about HandyCandor on our Site or a third-party site, such as Google, Yelp, or the BBB, that content may be public. We may display reviews you have posted publicly on our Site and social media.

7. Text messaging (SMS) privacy

Program. HandyCandor sends text messages about customer care and service, including replies to your inquiries, estimate and appointment confirmations, appointment reminders, scheduling updates, job status updates, and invoice and payment reminders.

How you opt in. You agree to receive text messages by checking the optional SMS consent box on the contact or estimate request form at handycandor.com and submitting your mobile number. Consent is not required to request an estimate, submit a form, or buy any service.

Message frequency. Message frequency varies based on your requests and scheduled services.

Costs. Message and data rates may apply.

Opting out. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages. You will receive one final message confirming you have been unsubscribed. Reply START to resubscribe.

Carriers. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Your mobile information is never shared. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the categories of sharing described in this policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. We do not sell, rent, or lend your mobile number. Information may be shared only with the text messaging provider that delivers our messages, solely to send them.

8. How we protect your information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No website or transmission method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send payment card numbers or other sensitive information through Site forms or email.

9. How long we keep information

We keep your information as long as needed to provide services, keep business and tax records, resolve disputes, and meet legal requirements. When it is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous.

10. Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you, by emailing info@handycandor.com or calling (386) 357-5577. You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP, and out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in any email.

11. Children's privacy

The Site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Third-party links

The Site links to third-party sites and services, such as Google, the Better Business Bureau, and social media. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please review their policies.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed.
